Upgrading Again...

It looks like the people @ Google have finally figured things out :) I'm able to post comments again, and I'm able to edit the HTML in the template! That being said.. I'll slowly be reworking the layout again... time permitting, of course.

Oh ya... those of you who don't know yet, I am no longer jobless :p

Jacq's Gift!!!...

Well, Jacq's gift finally arrived at her doorstep a few days back! :D Her brother was home when the delivery guy reached but he didn't answer the door. The package was already belated as it was :( not enough hours in the day to do everything :( and now it was going to be even later.

The fact that her work is being shifted over to a new location / new company isn't helping either. What that translated to is that she wasn't able to pick up or even receive the package. She has to wait another 2 days.

I guess the surprise was spoilt because DHL called her to inform that they tried to deliver but there was no response.

Anyway, Jacq finally received her gift on the 19th

I happened to be online with her when the delivery came in :) she turned the cam so that I could see the guy hand it to her :p that was cool. Finally her gift was in her hands!

Here's the kicker. Jacq examined the package and told me it looked like it had been tampered with :( After opening the ennvelope she pulled out her card and it was crinkled, then she told me that it looked like the package was wrapped in another envelope inside. At this point I was beyond words. My whole mood had changed... My heart felt like it was in the pit of my stomach... I was almost certain that someone had gone and taken what was inside. Jacq pulled out the package, and the wrapping had been torn open on one side. Wow... the worst part for me is, she was doing all of this just off cam... I could see her, but I couldn't see what she was looking at.

When she finally showed me 2 small boxes I felt a little more relieved. When she opened them up and showed me what was inside I finally felt relief again.

That whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Why was the package opened? Why did she have to spend almost an hour untying a knot that was put into the necklace? What the fuck?! If it was customs that did this, don't they have equipment that allows them to see inside the package less intrusively? That was the first time that I have sent anything like that overseas, and I'm not impressed. People have no respect for things that don't belong to them... argh.

Forgive me, I"m tired and I'm agitated...

Happy Bird Day Jacq <3...

It's Jacq's birthday today! :)

Times like these are very difficult in LDRs :(. It's difficult enough in that I always want to be together with her, spend quality time together with her... days like today I want to be with her even more... :'(

Golfing With Apples :P...

My dad has been talking about taking golf lessons lately and last week I had the urge to go out into the backyard and whack a few apples around :D

If you're ever bored and happen to have an apple tree in the yard then you should give this it a shot ;) Apple trees like to drop apples all over the place after they have ripened. Alot of the time the apples are over ripe or end up really bruised so you can't pick them up to eat them anyway... what to do? Grab a driver and whack away!

In the back of our house there is a medical building across the alley. If I were whacking golf balls I'd probably have the cops and/or a lawyer banging on my door :P Fortunately, apples just explode when you hit them :D weeeeeeeeee! Enjoy!

Is Blogger Beta Worth It?...

What the fruck?! Since I've moved over to blogger beta I'm no longer able to comment on other peoples' blogs if they're not on beta?

I hope they work all this stuff out soon... it's getting a little frustrating, so many features missing... :@

Stanley Cup Night :)...

Over the last week I've been working on a project for a friend, thus the lack of updates... I'll post the project in a bit, but first...

About a week and a half ago EK got permission to have a night out, as such I was one among many who were invited to go out and spend some quality time :D

Our night began at Sip Restaurant located on Granville near Helmken... I've been there once before (with JM, he knows the head chef). The gimmick for this place is that everything on the menu is cooked with some sort of Alcohol (hence the name 'Sip'). For example (if memory serves me correctly) there's a grilled cheese sandwich cooked with Bacardi 151 o_o... interesting? To help wash the food down there were giant-sized servings of Hoegaarden as well.

At the table I was sitting at, we all decided to get the Royal with Cheese... Royal because it's cooked with Crown Royal... unfortunately, I was so hungry that I forgot to take a pic before devouring it :P.

After dinner was done we slowly made our way out of the restaurant and onto Granville street to decide what to do next. First we all went down to Plush just to see if there was anything going on... plus, if there was nothing there, Cyber was right next to it and we could check there. Umm... Outside of Plush there was... a lone bouncer. There wasn't even anyone in the smoke pit. Cyber wasn't that much better... except the smoke pit was packed.. and there was no one inside.
bouncer1: "Hey guys, the party's in there." *points in club*
bouncer2: "No, it's not, it's right here!" *points at us*
bouncer1: "Ok... hey guys, the bar's in there :P"
You get the idea.

So we ended up going back within a block of the restaurant and getting into Stone Temple... Lucky us... one of EKs buddies is a bouncer there... we all got into VIP :D

About 2/3rds into the night we found out that the Stanley Cup was going to be brought in! :D

Writing this... I'm assuming that you know what the Stanley cup is.. but for those of you who do not... in a nutshell, it's the Holy Grail of Hockey kinda like the World Cup of Soccer.

The Super VIPs got to drink out of the cup... bastards...

Anyway.. it doesn't matter, hehe. We all got our awesome shots w/ the cup XD

And a wicked group shot :P
